This body butter recipe is perfect for your whole body! It’s made with all organic ingredients and with no scent added to make it perfect for everything from your face to your more sensitive areas.

I am someone with very sensitive skin and have an allergy to an unknown skin care ingredient. When I was seven I got some cheap skin care products for a Christmas gift. One of the items was a bottle of lotion, I used it on the way to a family Christmas party and promptly broke out in hives and we had to leave early.
I have no way of knowing which of the long list of ingredients caused my allergic reaction but since then I have been very careful of the skin care products I use. How to do you avoid a allergen if you have no idea what the allergy is too? Make your own products!
Does this body butter recipe work?
Yes, it does. During the winter my feet can get so dry that they crack and hurt if I am not using this body butter on them. It is the only thing that works on my heels, I have tried the various ingredients alone, O’Keefees products and many others and this is the only thing that touches it.
The wonderful thing about this body butter recipe is that not only does it work on tough skin it also works on the most sensitive areas of the body. We use this on everything from diaper rashes to face cream to all over the body use.

Can I use this with cloth diapers?
I cannot guarantee that your diapers won’t have any issues with it, but I use it all the time to moisturize my baby’s skin or for use on a diaper rash and I have never had any issues with my cloth diapers form it.
Can I add essential oils to this body butter recipe for scent?
Yes, you can add up to 15 drops total of your favorite essential oils to this body butter recipe. However, if you choose to add essential oils or any other ingredients, I would be very careful using it on sensitive skin areas.

The perfect gift!
This body butter make the perfect gift for many occasions. It is perfect for mother’s day, birthday gifts, just because gifts, Christmas gifts, or as a gift for the new baby in your life.
How long does it take to make the boy butter?
Hands on time is under an hour, but the cooling time takes several hours. In my opinion it is very much worth the wait.
Which coconut oil do I get?
I love green pastures coconut oil! It is by far the best coconut oil I have ever used (use code “OFG10” for 10% off), however if you only need coconut oil for this recipe and do not use it for other purposes, then I would recommend this coconut oil because of the smaller size.
