Is the Quince Cashmere Nursing Shawl worth the cost? Is it as great as it seems? Here is my review of the Quince Clothing Cashmere Nursing Shawl.

As I talked about in my nursing dresses post (read it here) I have been nursing or pregnant for almost 5 1/2 years straight. I am someone who uses a nursing cover anytime I am out and about or around males other than my husband when at my house.

My wonderful sister-in-law sewed me some beautiful hoop style nursing covers that I have used up until this last month or so. I love them and in fact I have used one of them so much that it is actually starting to fall apart. However, I have found that the hoop part though wonderful for seeing your baby is actually not great if you are using it in church.

When I nurse in church I am frequently sitting down while the rest of the congregation is standing. Which means the hoop part means anyone who is standing behind me and happens to glance down will get quite the view. So I have been on the lookout for some nursing cover that will keep me covered.

Quince Nursing Shawl Review Pros:

  • It is so soft! The cashmere feels wonderful against yours and baby’s skin.
  • The mesh nature of the nursing cover means that baby does not overheat while nursing. I have found that the other nursing covers I have can get quite hot under them when it is warm out. I have used this one in 85+ weather and my baby girl stayed nice and cool.
  • You can wear it as an accessory. My babies eat multiple times during church and that means I am usually putting the nursing cover on and off multiple times. This leads to messed up hair and sometimes my hair getting stuck in the cover. Since this is a nursing shawl you can just leave it on and still look stylish.
  • It is not super expensive. I have looked at a similar cover that is twice the price, so when I saw this one at only $39.90, I was excited.
  • It can be wadded up and it does not wrinkle or look worse for wear.

Quince Clothing Review Nursing Shawl Cons:

  • The price, at almost $40for me it is an investment piece
  • You can’t find one used yet.

So far this is the only con I have come across. I really love it and I am not at all sponsored in any way. I feel this is a chic nursing cover that helps me stay modest while nursing.
